A work function people actually enjoy
A good corporate event has two jobs: the formal part has to run smoothly, and the team has to have a good time. That means clear sound for speeches, music that suits a mixed crowd, and a DJ who sticks to your run sheet.
I’m Chester, the DJ behind DJ Lopes. Since 2012 I’ve played Auckland staff parties, club functions and celebrations. Organisers deal with one person from quote to pack down, so nothing gets lost between an agency and the DJ on the night.

See Me In Action
Christmas parties and end-of-year functions
November and December are the busiest months for work parties in Auckland, and Friday dates go first. Book early, tell me roughly how many people are coming and the age mix, and I’ll plan music that works for the graduate and the CEO alike. Theme nights are welcome too – 70s disco, 80s, or a Christmas classics set.
Easy for organisers
- One point of contact from quote to pack down
- I talk to your venue directly about power, access and setup times
- Invoice provided for your accounts team [confirm GST registration]
- Public liability certificate for your venue [confirm]
